Let Go Of Negative Energy

So this morning, someone just came to my DM and started talking.....
Without allowing me to defend myself, this person has hauled words and insults upon me.
Accusing me for things I did, things I didn't do, things I will never do and things I can never even do.

At first, seeing the message, I wanted replying immediately.
I have this habit of giving it back, lol. I won't let you land before I give it back to you

But this time, instead, I decided to remain calm.
I have realized that giving it back as I call it always does more harm than good to me.
It leaves me angry for the most part of the day.
So I instead decided to stay cool and let the negative energy not get to me.

Many times, people complain about how others hurt them but I have come to realize that no one can hurt you except you give them the permission to do so.

It is your responsibility to keep negative energy far from you and that responsibility is your response ability
Your ability to respond to people, situations and things.
Because....

It is not what happens to us that hurts us; but our response to what happens to us.
