My Life in Japan Daily Journal | A Bowl of Chu-karai Ramen

After a week of consistent rain here in Japan, finally, the sun has shown and it's getting hotter again. Since the day is longer than night, I used to keep on rooming around to ease my boredom and to have some fresh air. I don't feel like jogging or lifting some weights, I missed those muscle pains after a workout, but I want to feel relax this time.

I keep on thinking nothing else but to get full, sip something hot, or cooling myself with a cup of ice cream. Well, I just want to be stress-free this time, roam around with my earphones, and listening to loud music without thinking anything else. Maybe this is the result of me, being locked up in my room because of the bad weather lately.

So, to continue my story for today, as I passed by at Korakoen Ramen House, what entered my mind is to have some bowl of ramen. This ramen house offers the cheapest ramen in our area, but to tell you it is delicious even if it is not expensive. I've got a bowl of “Chu-karai Ramen” for only 440 yen. One thing that I love about this Ramen House is that they offer a lot of food menus at reasonable prices and fast service. You will have your order in not more than 5- 10 minutes. Unlike those other ramen houses wherein you have to wait for a longer time. Also, they have a set menu at a very affordable price. The place is neat and spacious like those expensive restaurants.

I am a “ Ramen Lover”. I used to have ramen almost every week, but now I only have it once in a while because of its high calories. I was that slow to realize that sooner or later I will gain weight again if I won't take a break.😂
