Rewarding and Relaxing Weekend

As a non chinese plus non malay in my company, I am solely a bumiputera (indigenous people in local language), who will take over as person in charge whenever main festival in Malaysia (click here for a brief introduction of my beloved country). I will be the choice of my managers to took over some of their responsiblities while they are on leaves.

For instances, this few days, I was instructed to be on call duties if any problems that might occured in the offices also the on going works at out station too. Since it is Chinese New Year, most company took these few days for a public holiday. However, my company is same like those service company out there which the nature of its business is to provide services. Hence, some of our job require us to work during these public holidays.

Well, as I am on standby mode, I will turn up to the office only if several cases which require my intervention. Thank God this few days my subordinates doing pretty well, and thats why I treated them on yesterday (it is on my post here yesterday you may check it here).

Today, I accomplished my very long cleaning and tidying up the room. There was a lot of stuff, I even check every boxes and items there is. It caused me a lot time. However, it totally worth it. I even mopped the entire house except my housemates roomlah. I dare not to usik their stuff. Also, I cleaned my toilet.

Walah The outcome of those cleaning ups was wonderful. Not just the house become tidy but the joy of accomplished the task was really relaxing and rewarding. I guess this another method of releasing stress too apart of my usual preached method that is sport.

So, at the end of the day I reward my self a simple instant noodle with rice some addition of sea weed and fish chips also a glass of milk. Yup, I know, what a weird combination. Anyhow, I hope my productivity will continue.
