Street Sport photo-dump / #club100
Graffiti of a boxing sportsmen I found one day, photo of my own. More to that, I witnessed the process of this murals creation! (Sadly it did not last long - and now is painted over.)

First of all, a little photo dump from my winter folder.
Winter has not much to suggest, in terms of street sports... skates, skis, what else?... some cycling as well :)
In winter, I see cyclists on the streets quite often - mostly they are couriers... although it is hard to take a decent photo. I dream of repeating a “demotivational picture” like I stumbled in the Internet once, which displays the following plot: a group of cyclists wanders knee-deep in the snow, borrowing their bikes on the shoulders; the expression in their faces shows they have been walking this way for a long while, and the weight is... heavy.
The picture had the title "Severe Russian cycling tourism: senseless and merciless."
A slice of winter kids fun - and its outdoors sport, no doubt. (Dont mind his slightly provoking blue/yellow color design of the dress).
As you may note, I love tilting the horizon - it provides to my shots more dynamism.
Evening colors... no 'magic hour' applied to this photo for me. Cloudy weather did not benefit to this photo, unlike the previous one.
And now a few more captures from the summer, to balance the final mix. Summer provides much more opportunities for sports. This includes running, cycling, all sorts of tennis (townspeople love to play tennis, badminton and ping-pong - I often stumble upon such players in the local parks).
Table tennis is easy to play, need minimum of gear / equipment and gives so much rivalry and fun!
And, of course, football - it is indispensable!
The water sports - the city has many canals and small rivers (do not forget that the second name of St. Petersburg is Northern Venice), some townspeople have yachts...
...those who do not have yachts rent small or large boats for rowing activities, and are training.
...as well as equestrian sports (even tho I dont have a proper photo to insert here), and much, much more.
Of course, I can’t say that we have everything; for example, we do not have mountains and caves, so there are not much options for rock climbing (but they also exist - children can be taught on special constructed facilities at certain clubs).
All in all, here is my little selection of outdoors sports. Did you like it?
This is a very interesting post. Your people are so active and healthy here it's not to say that you won't find that but it's very scar's perhaps only when it's from professional athletes or people trying to keep healthy other wise they rather choose alcohol or business 😁. Always keeping the positive energy sometimes you don't win the money but you sure as hell win being able to participate. Imagining how people only value something once they have lost it..
