Last week on August, 8 week we passed the International Cat Day - thats a good option to celebrate this event at the blockchain. https://icatcare.org/international-cat-day
I also checked wiki and find out that different countries has their special National Cat days, for example in the USA it is October 29, in Russia March 1, in Japan February 22.
A few funny facts about it: in Japanese, the date 'February 22' resembles the meow meow meow words - "nyan nyan nyan", thus this date was decided to be the proper day. Japanese are a very cat-loving nation, did you know? They celebrate it posing with photographs of themselves with their pet cats, uploading multiple funny videos, photos etc.
As I live in Russia, I want to share with you some "traditional wisdom" of Russian folklore - sayings about cats. I have collected some of the most well-known and curious, they expose such characteristic cat traits as stubbornness - the cat is always “on its own mind”, it will not do what you tell it, but what it wants, the cat is tenacious and always recovers, the cat is the creator and keeper of home comfort, and so on.
A house without a cat is an orphan.
The person is like a cat,- always falls to his feet.
It takes nine deaths to kill a cat.
Thers no beast stronger than a cat!
The cat is so proud, that won’t come down from the stove.
One who kill a cat won’t see any luck in anything for seven years.
Vaska [common cat name] listens to the cry, but dont stop eating forbidden dish.
Cat smells milk in a jug, but cant get it: snout is too short.
