Steemit MILESTONE... AGAIN! - 6000+ Followers!

Hey everyone! I was happy to wake up today to find that I have over 6000 followers! What's most incredible is that it was only 22 days ago that I had done a post celebrating 5000 followers!

It's been such an incredible journey here on Steemit. I'll spare you the usual speech, but I'm excited for the 10k follower speech. haha

Again, we're on the ground floor of history here.

People went from the telegraph to the phone to decentralize. They got rid of the operator to decentralize. They went from the newspaper to radio and television to decentralize. They turned away from mainstream media for social media in order to once again decentralize and you know what's next... They will come to Steemit and DTube to finally decentralize social media! The future is wide open and human beings intrinsically always look for ways to decentralize whether they know it or not. Regardless of their politics.

Now outside of the monetary opportunities on Steemit, I have to say, the most incredible part is the community. I've said it before and I'll say it again, people here treat each other as they would in person. Due to the reputation system, there's incentive to actually be nice to people. On centralized social medias like Facebook, people troll because they have nothing to lose. They can treat people like crap behind their keyboard, but here on Steemit it's a public market with individual demand, just like real life. Reputation matters. I think that's a great cure for the ailment of divisive infighting we see so much today on the internet.
