TEACHING/LEARNING WITHOUT FEELING OFFENDED NEITHER OFFENDING

For all of us, we have something that could be very complicated, and as difficult as it seems to be, to fully develop in the course of our lives, it is essential to learn to Feel, Think, Speak, Act and even Omit based on "Truth"; and in this context, defending the "Truth" is vital, although it is known that this is not an easy task; because many people are exaggeratedly "sensitive" to the truth, but whoever has the truth in their hands should not worry about it: "With the truth I do not offend neither fear."

However, is it seems paradoxical that things are facilitated if our daily parameters are structured in terms of not accepting prejudices, compromises, fanaticisms, false or bad intentions, mediocrities, manipulations, nonsense and ignorance, among others; but, controlled in order to encourage attitudes of positive tolerance, understanding, transingency, respect, free will, loyalty, fairness, among other aspects and obviously "Without Offending the Truth".

Listening Without Feeling Offended Nor To Offend

In the first place, it must be clear that in every teaching/learning process and among the fundamental keys to be successful in life are: "Knowing how to Listen and Move away from the Word offend".

In this sense, listening, not feeling offended neither to offend, is a triangular scheme of joint teaching/learning that we must keep in mind at all times, with a good assessment, not prejudiced or biased, of the speaker, in the best understanding of his message and obviously focused to give the appropriate verbal or gestural response.

That is, Teaching/Learning Without Feeling Offended neither to Offend, is based on Listening/Speaking courteously and appropriately, as an excellent sign of respect, intelligence and understanding of others and a greater and better understanding of the message sent and received; which encourages friendly dialogue based on tolerance and free expression of the ideas of all people.

Therefore, we must simultaneously learn and teach to listen, not to feel offended and not to offend, as a strict norm of coexistence with others. In this environment, letting people speak and listen carefully, without triggering prejudiced, fanatical, taboo or malicious thoughts, is an excellent way to apply teaching/learning models and strategies focused on good speaking and good listening.

Emotional Intelligence of the Offended and the Offender

In the understanding that the Emotional Intelligence is conceptualized based on the ability we have to perceive, interpret, control and transmit our feelings and passions, and also those of others; then, by rational logic it must be inferred and understood that by minimizing and if possible eliminating the "offense" of our ways of life and communication, it must be one of the best ways to improve and increase our Emotional Intelligence.

Also, in this context the fact of teaching/learning without feeling offended nor to offend, is the most intelligent attitude we can develop, based on cognitions, idealisms, behaviors, practices, motivations, patience, impulse control, maturity and good spirits. Added to the ability to empathize and trust our interlocutor.

Many times people are offended with the simple act of telling or explaining something, they do not assume it is a contribution to their intelligence, sometimes it can be the way they say it, that is why they say that teaching is an art !!!
