Economic policies that do not help

in Project HOPE3 years ago

Greetings Project Hope friends, best wishes to all of you in this week that is about to begin. We are almost half way through the second month of this year, we are going fast, don't you think?, it is better to be very organized in our goals so that time does not limit us so much.

Today I want to tell you about some things that are happening in Colombia, currently there is a fight by the state against applications such as Uber and Beat, among others that also work here and are the basis for many workers to support their families, we are talking about tens of thousands of Colombians, however, there is an order to arrest virtually all those who work with these applications.

There is a big mafia in this country with the yellow cabs, which are the ones that have generally been used for that purpose. However, for example, when a car of a certain brand that is not intended for personal transportation is purchased, it can have a price of, say, 10,000 dollars, but if it is the same brand but is yellow, intended for cabs, it can cost up to double, because additionally a series of taxes must be paid that make it really very expensive.

In addition, cab drivers must pay a subscription to a line, which costs thousands of dollars, the same that they will have to pay annually. Well, this is total madness, which makes that people who work as cab drivers but in lines and with a yellow car, must pay a large amount of money and what is left for them is very little.

I know that governments are largely supported by the payment of taxes, in addition to the sale of oil, which particularly Colombia is a major exporter, as well as coffee, coal, among other raw materials. However, leaving thousands of families without jobs would have a negative impact on the country's economy, which is not at all beneficial from any point of view.

Unfortunately what they manage are big mafias, the already millionaire businessmen, associated with politicians, are those who can buy hundreds of cabs and rent them for daily payments to cab drivers, and I do not say that this is ml, because finally it is a business, but what I do see is that governments continue economically supporting those who have more than those who have less, and the latter "supporting them" with a bag of cheap food from time to time, pretending to make themselves look like the saviors.

I have a clear position on this, and the reality is that, even though I know that governments and order is necessary, the rottenness that can be seen is very big, and I will never agree with this. I wanted to share this reality with whoever likes to read. Greetings, Nice week ahead.
