It was a great experience I had during my stay in the Sarduana local government area of Taraba State Nigeria. Gembu is the headquarters of Sarduana, which is a very cool place that is occupied by mountains and forests.

As a coper who was posted to a village called Mayo Sum-Sum, which is where the mountains are and the Highland tea company is suited I decided to know places in the area.

On a faithful morning, I and my colleague who visited my place of primary assignment decided to visit one of the forests that have high mountains in my sum-sum village which you can see from the picture shared below.

As we both were going, at some point we decided to take a step back, seeing how lonely we were in the bush. It is a very lonely and quiet forest which makes us scared.

What scared me and my friend the most on our adventure, was the very big snake that we saw. The snake was tuning towards our direction as if it was sent to attack us and before we could look for a big stick, it ran into the bush.

Based on the snake that we saw we couldn't continue with our adventure into the mountains but decided to take pictures from afar since my friend was very scared even more than me.

The adventure was unplanned, and we just went into the forest without water or equipment but our smartphones. On our way home, we met with a palm wine taper who advised us to be very careful while in the forest.

The man advises us not to visit the forest in the morning hour, or night hours, because of how dangerous the forest is. While the man was talking to us my friend became afraid more and began to be disturbed about going home, and I had no option left but to abide by his decision.
