Writing, the writer's second commandment

If you chose to write or literature as a way of spreading your inspirations to the rest of the world and perpetuating them, or simply as a way of doing catharsis and you have fulfilled the first commandment which is to read, to enrich your lexicon and acquire the tools to write correctly, then you must assume that almost in unison with it you must apply the second, which although it sounds redundant is to write.

Many are exempted from doing this until they have advanced knowledge on the subject and forget that the primary exercise of the human being for the correct load of knowledge is based on reading-writing.

It is through it that one acquires and exercises what one learns, it is as theory and practice, which must be conjugated in order to acquire dexterity.

In such a way that reading a lot creates a marvelous habit but also hundreds of doubts or stimuli to turn on paper, when one has the gift or desire to transform into writings of different genres those flashes produced by inspiration, called muse in the artistic field.

To stop expressing them with the argument of not having enough elements to interpret them is like aborting a child for not having the security of the future capacity to be a mother.

It is aberrant to write without being a reader, but it is also aberrant not to write without being a reader, since in the case of the latter, it is necessary to put into practice the knowledge acquired.

There are two types of writers who are rarely discovered by their readers, when they apply the correct use of what they have learned, the one who writes by inspiration and the one who does it by trade, the latter being able to do it by joining the former, but the former will never be able to symbiosis with the latter since he does not have the weapons to achieve it.

The gift of being able to express through writing what we want is abstract and therefore it is impossible to box it in a limited space and as the amateur penetrates this magical world he discovers that there are flats and that it is a multiform universe where species that perform different actions coexist and although they differ in the type of execution, they all seek the same end.

Just as there are self-taught musicians and academics, artists who do their work without possessing specific techniques or actors that the drama is innate, just to name three artistic streams, there are writers in the same condition.

In order to advance, everyone acquires knowledge, but they do not stop executing their innate abilities while studying, investigating or experimenting, since that would oxidize or scare away that muse that accompanies them in the adventure.

In such a way that writing is the correct way to feed the stimulus, regardless of the quality that the limitation in the circumstantial moment confers on us.

There is no worse critic than the artist himself, so you must ignore the ego and just as a mother loves her disabled, sick or healthy child, you must do it with whatever comes out of your pen, because every job we do is a child that we throw into the world, with the difference that in the future we can review and improve it, although personally I am an enemy of that practice, because I believe it takes away the essence of what we once felt and expressed and erases the imperfection that at that time was part of our knowledge.

Write, write and write, don't get tired or put on thresholds, and that's the third commandment, which we'll talk about in another chapter.
