The boyish looking striker who lit up the championship with more than 20 goals for two season is currently in hot Waters after a bizarre penalty miss in Istanbul which left a hard-working Chelsea lose the super cup to Liverpool. VAR could have called for another take but this is football and that wasn't the case. It seemed like the Confidence is basically lacking and for someone who was consistent in scoring in the championship, he was expected to at least show signs or promises but after a disastrous afternoon against Manchester United and a woeful outing against Liverpool, the Chelsea faithfuls are beginning to wonder if it hasn't been a disastrous mistake placing Tammy Abraham at the helm of Chelsea's striking position. Needless to say, experience is definitely all that matters and the diminutive Nigerian has shown that he can score goals, what then remains the problem?

Olivier Giroud's goal against Liverpool proved how toothless Tammy could be and it's now being wondered if making Tammy the first choice might be Lampard's undoing at Chelsea. I for one might be a little jittery and I'm sure that Frank Lampard is obviously feeling the same way too after countless of misses by Abraham against Liverpool Chelsea could have won the game in added time, but instead the goal came from Olivier Giroud. After more than 70 minutes against united, Tammy could only boost of misplaced passes in front of goal and his miss against an inexperienced Liverpool goal keeper says it all.

Lampard's might get it all wrong if he doesn't integrate all this young players slowly, I know he's a young manager and he wants to make a statement by placing faith in the young generation but I think this might not work because the Premier League is a combination of experience and gut. We might make excuses for him by saying injury has really halted his stand. But the board of Chelsea will not look at this if they were to fire him. Needless to say there are so many positives to take from the game against Liverpool and we could see that Chelsea came alive when they were injected with their old guards.

Tammy Abraham for me should be coming off the bench in every Premier League game at least till December and Olivier Giroud and Batshuayi should be starters. I might even say the same thing for Pulisic, he's young and at 20 years of age I don't expect him to be half of Eden Hazard, I saw him struggle against United and Chelsea fans seemed so much disappointed but in my opinion this lad should also be coming in from the bench. He's absolutely class but he still needs to learn instead of fill a gap that would be too enormous for ten of him. So Frank Lampard has obviously has his work cut out for him obviously but that's life and complaining wouldn't solve anything. Tammy Abraham needs to learn what it is to shoulder responsibility and he can only do this by watching and looking at people who have been there before him. Starting him again would be a huge mistake and I absolutely think he can do well if he is groomed properly.

Abraham needs time. I see a very talented player with a killer goal scoring instincts. EPL isn't a kind ground for such young players but I'm sure he will evolve in no time. All he needs now is support
