WEARY SOUL (An Original Poetry)

Sojourning through,
sifting through, passing through
trading sadness on a black market
oasis in desserts
wasting away, thirsty throat
plaintiff heart,
sober smiles and nightmares
until we are spread out,
naked to the eyes of the sun
till we're but bones and soot
Like a charred leaf,
floating irons and sinking feathers
we are weary of the wind's directions
blowing unto us like rejections
tears in tea cups,
bitterness in sour chops
dexterity residing in the soul,
as we journey through our nightmares
like soldiers without amours
Weary soul
living the life of immortality
like a reborn eagle,
standing on the mountain peak,
and musing at life's vanity
we're weary of this endless cycle,
circling like a cyclone,
death at the end of life's revival
a miracle for dumb men to tell
Weary soul
Have you clothed yourself in scarlet
to hid the bruises and scars?
of the strip marks to the hearts?
wounded and taunted,
left to feed on remnants of shame?
we will wake up to our eternal homes
but stilt haunted by the past,
a depth filled with salty rain

Weary soul indeed in must be, that of he who had such high expectations from a faulty creation.
No matter how many tears are shed, how much pain and suffering is inflicted and self-inflicted, man and woman seem to be destine by providence to disappoint.
Not even the chosen ones, to whom great portents were revealed, were up to the task. Generation after generation they provoked the raths of heaven and hell.
Chance after chance we seem to be unable to pass the terrible twos stage. We behave like spoiled brats who care only about inmediate gratification and self-interest.
Weary soul indeed that of any father who has to deal with with children whose development got arrested.
Wow I'm sorry about your father, well I intended to pass an underlying meaning in the piece I wrote here and try as much as possible to convey the emotions of a bleeding heart and well I'm glad, I'm always happy seeing your amazing interpretation of my poem, thanks a whole lot sir.
