I usually laud the phenomenon of rationality this is why I sometimes make decisions that might seem unpleasant at the moment but in the long run it'll seem quite logical as futuristic events unfolds. Truth is, the future is unformed but then we as people needs to be an instrument to guild how it might be formed. At least to an extent. Life isn't all rocket science but then we need to individually understand the things that helps us form our perspective, our core personality and how we can differentiate ourselves from others people.

Many people use to ask me why I'm always particular about investments and I use to tell them that there's no proof of brain in spending on liability and without fear I'll say most Nigerian dreams or the dreams of a regular Nigerian are more liabilities and less investments and this is why we have redundancies where we need logic and a sense of direction. Nobody knows but I've actually been to three Nigeria tertiary institutions and I dropped out from two; why is this? There wasn't any sense of accomplishment that might follow should I graduated from them.

Although this wouldn't be the same for everyone and like I said; one's individual core self and their components and experience will shape their perspectives which might determines the path they'll take in life. To some people, attaining the greatest peak in life is getting a Nigerian tertiary certificate but this is probably inept and shallow because the system in the Nigerian setting is so callous that you can invest in education and at the end you'll still remain an illiterate, unable to decipher how to turn your so called investment into profits or at least a means of profit.

It's true we don't get education simply to get a job or live good lives but then we might have all the algebraic knowledges in mathematics and still find it difficult to put it into usefulness in real life since you were only put shown the virtual world of practical theories. Let what I've said sink in and then we can continue. The truth is. Investing in the Nigerian certificate is a no brainer and that's why I don't advise anyone to borrow a loan to school in Nigeria. Like I said earlier, we're learning to be educated illiterates, we're simply learned but the knowledge limits us to a chair and a desk and a salary of not more than 180$ In a month.

Simply put, my perspective may be too personal but then, I've looked at my life in general and I'm better off being logical and analytical in the way I spend money on a certificate. Without a doubt, anyone in the Nigerian sphere can relate, the economy favour those that either inherits, knows or originally have money by default and sometimes people who have money might end up losing it because naturally investing in agriculture in Nigeria for example will be different from Investing in another place.

Like I said earlier, I might just be another ranter but then there's a sense of purpose to my rant. To me I believe spending money shouldn't just satisfy a primary need alone. And I don't base my judgement on the uncertainty of hope this is why I believe our actions one way or another needs to influence the future even if it's for one tiny bit. I don't believe I need to live today and be uncertain tomorrow, I wouldn't do that in Nigeria. Irrespective of whatever I say, everybody finds out what works for them because irrespective of the underwhelming nature of the country's economy some people still get things done.

The queer thing is, most people abandon business, trading to chase a certificate and rather come back to trade, business which they've rejected in the first place. I'm not saying you can't have them both my point is sometimes we're only equipped with a singular financial power for an opportunity cost of either choosing one or fogoing the other and sometimes choosing to manipulate the scale and do one over another is the reason why many are stranded not knowing the next direction for their lives.

Truth is a lot of people over here are controlled by what others have to say especially parents and relatives.
Let me share a quick personal story: I had finished secondary school and admission was not forth coming so instead of sitting around, I ventured into business my Dad's friend advised him that it was compulsory to get a tertiary education and my Dad gave up his housing project and sold some things to send me to a private school.

The years I spent in school was not easy either as my parents did not have sufficient resources to foot all the bills so I decided to mix petty trading with education in order to take care of myself in school.

I realized it was extremely difficult to get a job in Nigeria so I decided to start my own business but you will not believe that my family members prefer that I sit at home until a job comes.

Being an entrepreneur will always be seen as something very risky, and I think in fact it is, but, if we don't risk we won't lose, but neither will we know if we will win something. Many think that waiting for a good job is the right way, or getting a profession, however, that is not always the reality.

Yeah but sometimes we spend at a cost and the risks makes us lose everything you know. That's why sometimes the right decision can also be very difficult to make

Wow, what a story, truth is, sometimes people have only money for one project and not everyone can afford to go to school and still be a business person it's always difficult however when we apply our wisdom it works perfectly well. Thanks for sharing your story

I agree that studying does not always guarantee you a good future or a good quality of life on an economic level, there are people who have achieved much more than those with great university degrees. I think it all depends more on other factors than whether or not you have a good academic education.

Yeah it depends on a whole lot of factors and that's why when we have money we need to settle dowm and make the right decisions for ourselves

It's a very personal point of view @josediccus, thanks for sharing it.countries in crisis always have a new difficulty for us, at the same time it gives us the possibility to grow a lot. Even when it's complicated.
A university career doesn't give you financial success for sure, that's about other things.

When it comes to Nigeria educational system, the best act is to just develop yourself personally and it will also be nice if you add that with an additional skills. The fact is that the government aren't really ready to help the situation and this is why there's always more increase in the rate of unemployment. I always advise every youth to have that special skill aside from their certificate.

Thanks for sharing this great post with love from @hardaeborla and I hope you have a great day ahead
