SPOTLIGHT. (An Original Poetry)

Standing aloft,
in the middle of the mist!
eyes in billions,
piercing like needles
feeding off
the heart's trepidation
stripping them
to the barest, of bravery.
Many many more
are keenly watching,
as we glide through
soapy slopes
through rugged roads
across surreal paths
as we're beheld
in the center of them
with beautiful thoughts of us
or them with despicable notion
.
In the spotlight,
seeking faces,
filled with questions
entreating and urging us
like alarms at dawn
shall we dazzle them?
like playwrights?
and tell the tastiest of tales?
to waiting ears?
We're struck in awe,
aghast by life's beam
on our naked souls,
prodding us to gleam,
to the expectant ones
observing us like meteors
flickering through the clouds
shall we dance for them?
and wail in melody?
