SLEEPLESS DREAMS. (An Original Poetry)

We're in sleepless dreams!
shallow shadows,
zapping off in flashes
in eye's blinking
we see wraiths,
camouflaged as angels
hollow yelps
beating in monotones
perspiring and gnawing
Sonorous screeches,
as baritones fidgets,
amidst cacophonous gibbers,
is this earth?
We wonder?
we're in planets, floating!
adrift our souls
like nylons in the air
galloping toward the end.
Nighty ambitions!
emphatic as the sunshine
in the Sahara!
we're taunted by doubts
our liver failing endlessly
we're furtherest
the nearer we reach
arriving enigma
after journey through mazes
What song shall we sing?
when the heart
is bereft of tender melodies?
we're stuck in mires,
unable to engulf
like a flame hushed by fire
kept in familiar places
of incertitude.
till we are unchained!
