A VEIN OF SADNESS (An Original Poetry)
Bursting forth flood,
abroad, across the lonely lane,
the night planted grief,
and now we are awake,
with particle of mischief,
there is a vein of sadness,
dwelling within,
clustering the thoughts,
keeping us dazed and crippled,
like a broken eagle unable to soar
We're clogged, plugged in,
into dirt, infection and hatred,
smeared with distress,
like a signpost on a highway
our faces written in defeat
unable to smile through rage
clenched fangs gnashing,
emotions clashing and bashing,
until we writhe to move no more
Nightmares are like breakfasts,
concurrent like the sun's rising,
we're wetter than the dew,
parched and yearning for brew,
to calm the tempest in the blue,
there's a vein of sadness,
running like a maze,
and making us tainted,
shrapnel and bayonet,
spreading black haemoglobin
There is a vein of sadness,
in our plaintiff throat,
engulfed with negativity,
like rain and blood
down the streets,
like Siamese brothers in arms
Nicely done poetry my friend.
I enjoy reading you poem, you are good.
