8.6K SP and Counting; I Spuded Throughout The Month Of October; What's Your Gain If You Don't Play The Steem Game?

in #spud5 years ago

Sometimes you don't understand hard work or value unless you started from a humble beginning, and since I discovered the Steem power up day like 6 months ago I've made sure to power up at least 50 steem throughout each of these month and that's like 360 steem plus other miscellaneous power ups which amounts it to 400 steem powered up in 6 months as well as buying and adding to my Steem. In truth sometimes people see steem as a lottery and when it's not paying maddening dividends they feel they can't bring in external sources of income in other to place hope or make steem stay afloat the ecosystem. If you look around, most account with less than 1000 SP are Powering down and why is this? They've all been claiming they have problems to solve and hence powering down is the only solution, but in truth these people are the rot that's eating deep into Steem without any sort of value Which they put back in return. So the case scenario now becomes that they've taken away all the profits and now they're equally taking off the capital as well without caring how their actions might Influence the blockchain moving forward.

I've seen first-hand how things can heavily turn around for Steem and this is the belief I always hold whenever I seeing a whole lot of difficulties with Steem. In truth I don't know when steem might pick up, might take years, might take month, but the fact that I believe is the main reason why I contribute my quota in keeping this place and Steem afloat. Believe me every corresponding action we take negative or positive influences and the right mentality really matters a lot. With every imperfections and every flaw why not at least see steem as a prospect even if you don't see it as a winning price, this would at least help you prepare for the inevitable of course.

So back to my power up tactics, lately I've hit a wall when it comes to investing externally so what I do is that I Power up throughout the month, although I find it difficult to collate from steemworld I just share a little screenshot of my wallet since can't check my power ups exceeding three days really. So in truth I power up at least 2 steem each day of the month and at the end of the month I have over 50 close to 60 steem power ups and well it's a tactics that definitely helps you not feeling the burden of powering up. A lot of people use this excuse of saying they don't have a huge sum to power up but the truth is that they don't want to. Powering up shouldn't be seen as a hurdle, a Hassle or a problem. I always tell people to enjoy the whole process of posting, powering up and hodling Irrespective of how the prices seems these days because first before steem was a lucrative venture we had to enjoy the fun, enjoy the process and this makes it easier to keep expecting that break Irrespective if when it might happen.

So I believe no one has excuses, I believe taking value without making attempts to replace or replenish value kills a system or a venture, and as much as people are concerned of the prices how often have they taken the necessary action to keep the system floating and flourishing? Spud is a beautiful intitiative and I'm grateful to @streetstyle and @xpilar for championing the Steem cause. I laud regular Power up guys like @spectrumecons @exyle as well because immutability these actions are evident that only time will reflect the development that's currently happening to steem. So if you don't power up at all because it seems you don't have enough to borrow my initiative and keep pioneering the Steem ship. I believe no power up is too little inasmuch as it's uniformed and constant. That's why I believe everytime at a point in time I mean everyone should play the power up game and like I said earlier every action goes a long way. I powered up through the month of October and from my calculations that's like 60 steem altogether. Cheers guys.

Yeah, @exyle is a SUPER STEEMIAN POWER UPPER. I also don't fault the smaller accounts that are powering down. I think they just don't realize that powering up really is an investment in oneself and then everyone else on the Steem Blockchain. Any Steem purchased with external funds is the same type of invest in one's self.
Thanks for supporting #spud my friend. Take care.

Well I own a small account, and I'm building my account as well, every small power up and external source of powering up too isn't insignificant. It matters and that's why I'm all for the Spud intitiative. Thanks a million buddy.

You're doing fine man. Bravo and cheers to you too.
