My Outdoor Grow #8
Hi steemians! So my outdoor grow is basically just a junk yard for my indoor plants. Either for a strain that gets retired.....
Like this unknown strain from bag seed I dubbed “spider cookies “ since it allegedly it came from a bag of cookies , and it grows slow and spider like.
Even though it’s a cool looking plant, it grows to slow, and I won’t grow this strain no longer. Look at the milk carton as comparison, that little plant has been growing since the end of February!!! Even with half it’s life under a 24/0 light cycle.
My outdoor grow is also just a junkyard for extra plants I can’t do anything with..
As you can see I always grow extra just to ensure a never ending supply of plants to bud out.
Like this extra Kandy Kush. But it’s really nice to do some plants outdoors. I’m learning a lot, definitely not as fast of a pace like my indoor skills. But it’s coming along, and maybe a little more interesting then indoors.
Like for instance look at Kandy Kush I threw out late spring, from an extra abundance from 2 rounds agog late winter.
It’s my funky re-veggin Kandy Kush. This plant was budding so nice but when the days got longer, it stopped flowering and started to grow! I’m excited watching how it grows. It’s pretty cool.
What’s even cooler is when the re veggin Kandy Kush was budding, I sprinkled some Santa Rita pollen on its pistols. Even though the plant went back into veg mode it still produced some very healthy seeds!
So to sum up this post, my junk yard grow is loaded with many treasures, even though it may be small, it gives a lot!
Update for veggies and my indoor grow coming soon!
So keep steemin my brothers and sisters!
Make sure you give @canna-curate a follow and help us turn steem green!
Niiiiice, the Junkyard!! :)
I think the re-vegging plant is cool. I've seen/done that with other plants in the past but haven't seen it with weed yet. Although it seems pretty weird looking now, strange leaves and buds. It's cool! That's a great way to learn, and sometimes we get interesting unintended results! :D
If anything it’s something really cool to look at outside my kitchen window. I think if someone tried to steal it it would be funny cause it’s would be basically shake at this point even though it looks like big fat juicy buds from a distance
Heheh, true.
I think it's awesome you're growing more outdoors now.
Spider Cookies is already a strain.

Not with the community together... It's going to be great! And your 2 cents and mine is 4!
Ten seeds of Santa's Kandy... mmm I wonder how good those are gonna look? Keepin the legacy alive!
I wonder too! I’m a little weary since I believe the Kandy kush was a feminized seed, and not so sure if it will be strong genetics.
Every time you create a new seed you have the potential for something great. It's just a numbers game at that point and the more seeds you grow the more likely you are to find a strong female.
Speaking of strong female, the new SAnta Rita’s are fucking fire!!!
There comes a point with the reveg where you can trim all the crappy 1 blade leaves & clean out all the old buds (they tend to mold) & the plant will explode in growth. I prefer to wait till some normal tops start showing but your plant will respond really well when you decide to start cleaning the olds out
So trim the bottom out? Or just the funky looking leaves?
Both, but U can wait a bit for the leaves, you probably want good growth to the tops first, the bushy stuff in the middle seems to clog up a lot of growth. When you free up the arteries the tops really take off in my experience. I cleaned this ones bad leaves & buds out today, but it was less deep into flower, was a monster crop
