My First Crypto Coin Purchase! Bought Some Steem!
Of course I bought Steem!
I know this is a small amount, one that some of you investors would laugh at.
"Oooh look, he spent $100, that's cute!".
However, this is a big deal for me.
For starters, if it weren't for Steemit, I would likely have never even had the confidence to buy into a crypto.
My introduction to crypto was through Steemit and it only seemed right that my first purchase was in a currency that I've come to truly believe in.
I have to thank @shayne for showing me the light. If it wasn't for you I would have never known about this amazing platform!
Anyway, even though this was a small investment, it won't be my last.
As a married father of four, having an extra $100 laying around is a rare occurrence.
With the recent dip in crypto values, I thought this was a great opportunity to take the plunge. I've not only invested in something that I believe in, but I've also taken this small step towards financial freedom for myself and my family.

It is a huge deal making your first steps in crypto like this, it does not matter how many decimal places or zeros are involved.

Very much this. My first crypto was steem as well Also for a €100. got some small pocket change in others coins now but nothing big. Steem does seem to make the transition in to crypto very smooth easy and gradual.
I bought a hundred dollars worth this morning too. And now it's up 25%. Feels gooooooood
