The more I sit here watching the rain fall the more I wonder about life, hearing the little tip taps as the fish jump up mistaking the droplets as bugs is very entertaining. It's more of an on and off through out the day kind of rain, nothing really heavy just sprinkles and really does clean out the smoky air we had here not to long ago with the forest fires making it really hard to breath.

No one is out here, when I drove up the gate was open but no one checking people in, they do that on off season unless its a really hot day and expect people to come to the lake. You still have fishermen that like the rain as it makes the fish more active I guess however I didn't see anyone today.

It's quite so if you ever wanted a place to go to when that's quite the lake on the week day or when it's raining is the best time to just relax and walk around exploring... that is if you're not afraid to get a little rain on you. It's great to get away to places like this from all the sounds and noise of everyday life, it's almost like taking a deep breath while popping your head out of water. You should do it more often or else you will drown.
