This sloe bug was pretty much the only insect I saw yesterday morning.
It was still very early on Sunday morning, when I took my walk at the reservoir, and it has rained almost all night.

I probably shook that little bug with one foot out of its dry shelter under a leaf, as it suddenly crawled around on my right lower leg.

Of course, I immediately rescued the bug and put her on a yarrow on the side of my path. There, the sloe bug first had breakfast a drop of morning dew.

Nice post and beautiful macros!

Thank you so much, @gritata, I'm happy, that so many people like this little bug :)

Beutiful shots again @johannpiber, still loving your macro shots. I cant recall knowing this bug. Have a wonderful evening!

Thank you so much, and I wish you also a very nice evening, @tijntje 😊

Believe me, I have seen this bug before, but its name I have had to search quite a while for, like at most of my insects 😉

You are welcome. Lucky we have internet these days and dont need to browse to an entire encyclopedia in book form. Have to do a quick search quite often for something I took a picture of.

That's true, we have had quite a few books and encyclopedias at home, and I think, if I had to search for this bug in these books, or in any other book, I would search quite a long time ;)

Good evening @gidlark, thank you so much that you like this little bug, and that you have even resteemed it.
I like to shoot macros more and more, but only the slow insects ;)

Tolles Foto! Diese Wanze ist allerdings auch sehr hübsch. ;-) LG Kadna

There are many types of insects on this earth.!

I would say, they are countless, but I have read somewhere, that there are four to six millions different kinds of insects on our earth.

This bug looks better, and it smells better than his green sister, the stinkbug 😉
Thank you so much, Ross 😊

Nice i've never seen a purple version of these guys before.

Thank you :)
True, usually we see the green stink bugs, but this one looks quite nice and does not stink ;)

Same here one of my coworkers once ordered a salad and there was a green stinkbug in it. At least it was organic.

Posted using Partiko Android

Haha, at least it was organic - that's a good one ;) lol

No harmful pesticides on that salad. I actually ended up taking that stink bug home for some macro shots. I'll tag you once i post the photos.

OK, fine, I'm looking forward to see these shots :)
