Olympic Stadion in Beijing - Das Olympia Stadion in Peking | #architecturalphotography by @joetravels
On our last day in Beijing we visited the Olympic Stadion.
It was built for the Olympic Summer Games 2008.
It is a good example of modern architecture that fits perfectly into the surroundings.
It was one of the few days in Beijing without any smog,
It is not always possible to see a clear blue sky. We were very lucky!
An unserem letzen Tag in Peking besuchten wir das Olympiastadion. (Es wird auch "Vogelnest" genannt!)
Es wurde für die Olympischen Sommerspiele 2008 erbaut.
Für mich ist ein gutes Beispiel dafür, wie sich moderne Architektur perfekt in die Umgebung einbinden kann.
Es war einer der wenigen Tage in Peking, an denen es keinen Smog gab.
Es ist nicht immer möglich , einen blauen Himmel dort zu sehen. Wir hatten Glück!

Indeed.. we also had some very foggy days there.
Such nice architecture. And yes, i was going to ask about the clear blue sky :) So lucky you captured it in that condition
