An Artsy Turtle Talk

I drew this on our small, but useful condo balcony in Pasadena, California. As you can see, from this view, the vast mountains of Southern California can be observed looming over the calm November sky.

I am in the process of turning this art into a color comic strip. Then I may launch it as a piece of rare digital art. The funnest part was just drawing this sketch here. The more disciplined part of the creative process will be coloring it and transforming that artwork into a 3-panel comic strip.

While that comic-ized work is not ready for prime time yet, I think that my initial black and white digital drawing also presents well as a stand-alone piece of digital art. I drew this on my old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone using the stylus. The app I used to draw it on the phone is called Autodesk Sketchbook and it is a pretty nice drawing app for mobile devices.

As for the fun comic strip that I am creating around this image, can you guess what the turtle and the woman are discussing? I would be interested in hearing what you all might imagine.
