Grilled Lamb Chops with Steamed Broccoli
I got a deal on some lamb chops at the grocery store. I believe that it was a sale for the fourth of July holiday. I usually can't afford to buy lamb chops because they are so expensive.
I love to order them occasionally in a nice restaurant, so I decided to try my luck at cooking them at home. I found a recipe where they are to be marinated for about an hour in the refrigerator in a paste made of olive oil, fresh garlic, fresh thyme, salt and cayenne pepper. I did not have any fresh thyme left so I used some ground thyme that I had handy.
I will eat these with some steamed broccoli and potato salad. The trick for me will be to grill them the way that I like my meat cooked and not over cook them. Wish me luck!
