Hello dear friends of this wonderful community. Before starting, I want to thank everyone who visits and supports my publications. The quarantine continues and the worst thing is that it will remain for many days, given this situation it is vital to organize our day and enjoy the company of our family.

There are several activities that make staying home fun, crafts is ideal for all family members, cooking and transmitting grandma's secret recipes unites and improves family bonding, and much more when you cook the food you have grown.

Have fun growing your own food, you will see that it is simpler than you suppose, agriculture has many processes that make your day entertaining, spending a day between plants renews energy.

Today I want to share some little secrets that make planting fun and successful. This is a plant that does not like the cold, for that reason I recommend planting after the last frosts, in this part of the world it occurs in mid or late August.
Starting cultivation at this time of year is very convenient, it allows you to do two plantings a year and harvest fruits in stages. The first plants will not be long in coming out, and from that moment in about eight weeks they will be enjoying exquisite pods.

This is a plant that grows best in soft, nourished soil, where the water drains well, although it prefers humid soils, it does not resist its roots in water, the soil has to be fertilized In this case we are going to use black earth mixed with horse manure and hangover from trees.

A little secret to see the seedlings faster, is to rest the seeds for a few hours in a container with water, this speeds up the sprouting. Once we have prepared the ground we can start planting, we do it in a small hole with a distance of 15 centimeters between each plant and sixty centimeters between each line.

The separation of each line is very important, it is vital to have that space to insert the cot so that its guides are developed, remember that this is a plant that likes to climb, however we are going to make a video showing the construction of the cot
We start sowing by making a not very deep hole, inside we will put the soil mixture that we have prepared and on top of that we deposit the seed, once we have completed sowing we cover the seeds with a thin layer of Earth.

As it is a plant that requires moist soil, it is advisable to water several times a day, and once the plant has emerged, we water once a day, it can be very early in the morning , or in the late afternoon. In the first days of planting it is advisable to use rainwater.

This is a plant that cannot be missing in our garden, it does not need much space, it is not very demanding, it can be planted in any container that you have at home, you only need a guide to to be able to climb. Depending on the space available, you can choose a variety of chaucha that meets your needs, another is the one that develops on site and does not need to climb, although this variety gives fewer pods than the others.

I hope my advice is useful and motivates you to start your garden, agriculture very convenient for these difficult days in which we live. This is all for today, thank you very much for your company.
