Contribute to caring for the environment during quarantine

Good morning nice people from this wonderful community. Being at home all day is not entirely bad, we can spend time thinking and doing little things that contribute to the "environment" "environment". I know it is a complex issue, and that much of the problem is out of our hands, yet there are little things within our grasp that make a difference.

Much of the daily litter is organic material that can be composted, and used to improve the quality of garden soil. If each of us avoids throwing these materials in the trash, we make a great contribution to the "environment".

Making use of certain things that we no longer use is another way to contribute, in addition to saving money that benefits your economy. By using disused wood we contribute to our trees that are less and less, this lack has a huge impact on nature.

Last year we made a commitment to recycle as much garbage and process as possible, the idea is to use it in the nutrition of the garden, it was the reason to build a contraption with recycled wood that let us make our own compost.

We take five pallets and remove the woods from the bases, this makes the tips of the pallest come together and allows us to join them, once conditioned we place one of them on the floor, the next step is to take the rest and place on the base pallet.

Once located with the help of wire join the tips so that everything is firm and stays in place, then we choose the one-sided pallets and extract three pieces of wood from the bottom, once removed the wood we can place the door that will be useful for the compost extraction.

Now is the time for the roof, this is vital to stop rainwater and vermin that may exist in the garden. We take cuttings from wood and build two rectangles joined by a hinge, then cover the surface with chapadur.

Finally we place the furniture in its place and we start screwing the parts, we start from the sides, once fixed we can remove the pieces of wire, now is the time to fix the ceiling and it will be the last step of our construction.

It remains a practical and functional piece of furniture, this will be of great help to process organic waste and garden remains, using disused wood we contribute to the care of our trees.
