A rewarding job for the whole family: how to do beautiful things for the garden

Good morning dear friends. As you know I have been inactive for a long time, having ignored the signs of my body cost me dearly, and if it hadn't been for my family I would not have overcome it. The truth is that having had free time allowed me to think that I was willing to do to get ahead.

I have come from making very important decisions in the last five years, one of them was leaving my dependency relationship job with more than 18 years old, and venturing to live from working online. As you know things have changed a lot, online earnings are no longer the same, it is almost impossible to live on them, it was a good time to see what to do to generate new income.

Since I was a child I was attracted to handicrafts, and I had the opportunity to do some woodwork for the school workshops, the marks were always good, something I must have had, was the reason why It will lead me to think of crafts as a source of income.

I have long wanted to build a fountain for the garden, and what better time to make my dream come true. But how to do it? If I never saw how it was done. The answer was in the hundreds of video tutorials on the web, which allowed knowing different techniques, I learned how to join and with what, different types of materials.

I made my wish come true by building my garden fountain, and several mini indoor fountains that allow me to earn some money. I am not an expert, but I acquired the necessary knowledge to build almost anything using contact adhesive.

Today's work arises out of necessity after buying a plant and it didn't come with the right pot. A few days ago my wife bought a plant and it was sad to see how it came from. An opportunity to do something with my hands and look good with my wife. These opportunities should not be missed, these kinds of things add up to many points.

Sand is a product that has a lot of particles, it is important to filter well before using, otherwise, the finish of what you want to build may not have a good texture and will be noticed at the time of painting

Once the sand is cleaned we can start using it, we take two measurements and place them inside a container, then add the same proportion of cement and mix it well. I use this ratio so that the piece is better finished and much more resistant.

When we achieve uniformity between the cement and the sand, we add the water, add little by little until we make a homogeneous mixture, we do not want to overdo it with the liquid, and it becomes very loose.

Having prepared the material we take the plastic and smear the interior with the oil, we must cover all its walls. This procedure is done to be able to extract the pot, otherwise, the piece could be broken, and it will not serve us for the utility that we want to give them.

Now we are going to dump the prepared material inside, then we will place the counter mold inside so that the cement rises and covers the entire surface of the plastic, if necessary add something heavy to keep the counter mold in place. Now you have to let it rest for three days

The next step is to make the shapes of the small arms that we will incorporate to the side of our plant support, make sure they are as similar as possible, we take strips of fabrics and wrap the supports.

Now we are going to take the arms and place them in a container with cement, leaving it for a while for the fabric to absorb the adhesive. This will allow us to add cement to the handles, for this we prepare a paste, and place on the cement-soaked fabric, very gently shape with our hands.

Now it's time to start with the flowers, we make some cement balls, we take one and position them in the center, then we arrange others around it, and we give the shape of the flower, once they are in place, add a cement paste and shape by removing the surplus

A flower cannot be complete without its leaves and stems. We start by making a cement paste, we apply pressure with our hands, as a reference we take a leaf and a real stem, we pose on the paste and we apply pressure, now with something sharp we remove the surplus and they will have the shapes they were looking for.

Now we must wait four days to continue with the second part of the construction, the third day we are going to remove the counter mold, and a day later we completely remove the plastic, there they will have in front of their eyes the pot in rustic form.
