The 300
My jl777 account is now in the top 300 of the richlist! If to combine all the funds in my taker marketmaker account it would get me close to the top 200. Not bad for someone who didnt have time to look into steemit until well after the July 4th beta release.
I still have a couple weeks of daily transfers from poloniex in the queue, but after that my rise on the richlist will likely slow down a lot, simply due to the larger and larger amounts needed. I started out way down the richlist, but through hard work have gradually climbed the ladder.
I think the GUI should show an accounts place on the richlist as this does provide a tangible goal and also allows you to see if you are "swimming against the tide". What I mean is that given two accounts with the same amount of VESTS, the one that is getting more authoring and curating awards will rise against the other, in terms of VESTS.
I think that you're making a very wise investment as Steemit continues its expansion on a WORLD WIDE scale! The future looks bright for Steemit and you'll be able to use your voting power to reward good content which helps everyone!

100 BTCs is alot for most people, but good on you for investing back into Steem Power (doing the same thing myself, just on a very small scale , about 60$ CAD in BTCs + the earnings from the one whale upvote I got for a comment hehe) .

As we can all see, making an investment into steemit was (and probably still is) a great idea, it is against non-believers but we can see the dream comes true for many people :)
Good job in keeping us all afloat, it's going to be exciting times here with the UI and UX updates hitting later this week.
