I am running a witness node using the crypto777 account. I have been campaigning to improve the liquidity reward points system as it hasnt been optimal. However, the current suspension creates some significant practical problems and I believe it is one of the causes for the price volatility.
Without active support of the SBD peg, there is no active support of the SBD peg. This sounds obvious, but right now we have no active support of the SBD peg and without it, STEEM becomes a lot riskier, which might lead some to sell.
Anyway, lets hope a sane liquidity points system will be instituted soon. I did post a points system that is an improvement.
I was running the taker bot to create a tight internal market with the $77.7 amounts, but I had to stop running it when the liquidity awards stopped. I was only winning 2% of the awards, but that was enough to compensate for my losses

I agree we need the sbd relatively stable. Glad to see you working is steem platform. What are your thoughts on the verium ICO?
let us wait till the ethereum civil war is over then steem will get bk to $4 and above.
People have been unloading coins all week to get into ETC.
