Introduction and Campaign Strategy
My name is Ebixy Ebi Laffin and I have a page on Facebook where I promote open source applications.
To perform and communicate efficiently in life, remembering things is very important. It could be the difference between success and failure, it could decide whether you get that job or not. There are only a few people who are naturally blessed with the gift of remembering things, the rest of us, we have to acquire such skill by constant practice or external help.
Such an external help is what AnkiDroid is offering. The resources come in the form of flashcards.
What is a flashcard?
"a card having words, numerals, or pictures on it, designed for gaining a rapid response from pupils when held up briefly by a teacher, used especially in reading, arithmetic, or vocabulary drills."

These flashcards come in different forms ranging from images, audio, videos and scientific markup.
Teachers can use AnkiDroid to make remembering things easier for their students. AnkiDroid is not limited to only those in the educational services, it could be used for personal reasons like learning a language, memorizing people's names. In summary, the opportunities stored in AnkiDroid are without limit. This campaign was centered for those in educational services
Bidding strategy
I choose the Cost Per Click (CPC) bidding strategy. Bidding method was set as automatic meaning Facebook is to deliver the ad at the lowest cost possible.
- Interest: Teaching methods, teaching ideas, Teaching resources
- Job Title: Teacher, Professor, Early Childhood teacher, Primary school teacher.
- Country: Nigeria
- Potential Reach: 52,000
- Language: English
- Age: 18 - 60
- Platform: PC, Android and iOS

The ad ran for 5 days, I observed that running the ad for more days was more effective financially than the former timeframe of two days I normally use.

As usual, you reached your targeted goals, and that's great.
The main thing I'd like you to work on right now is the ad copy. You targeted the ad to teaching professionals, but didn't target the copy to them at all. I strongly believe ad strategy should be coherent. The text used should be in line with the targeting. You went with copy that is entirely generic, which to my mind dilutes the power of the ad.
As I've written to you before, the long term measure of a campaign isn't clicks, though that's the tool we have. It's whether people actually install and use the project or app. And copy that is relevant to teaching, in an ad aimed at educators, would increase the odds of that.
