Error… The System Is Down

Just sharing a wonderful blue screen of death with the rest of you. As a “noobish” programmer, I always find it interesting when these things pop up on live systems. Most of a time, a simple reboot will get things running again, but until someone with the appropriate access comes around and does that, there’s there to taunt us all.

Maybe that’s a good thing the machine crashed, it might have taken my money.

It's a bit scary to think but this is the case for many systems. As much as companies try to test code, truth is, the best and hardest bugs come from live systems as it is seemingly impossible to test all conditions in a staged environment. Scary thing is, these things can have huge impacts.
