Wheat Belly by Dr. William Davis
I recently finished this book about the dangers of consuming wheat, and I think it's worth sharing. I've taken some quotes out of the book, which I'll post and comment on below. The reason why I read this book is because, for many years, I found myself hungry roughly every 2 hours. I felt as if I was a slave to food. Hopefully you guys can get inspired to read this book and get off wheat, too :)
Dr. Davis first points out that the wheat of our ancestors is not the same as it is today:
He goes on to describe how, in the process of hybridizing wheat to meet modern population's food demand, it's genetic code was changed and was never tested for human consumption safety:
It's understandable how, in the face of world hunger in the 1960's, safety protocols were ignored. But you'd think by now that this would be looked at! Davis continues with historical evidence that wheat is the principal contributor to the obesity crisis in the USA and the world:
Next, Dr. Davis presents evidence that wheat is more detrimental than to just our bellies:
Very surprising to learn of Dr. Dohan's investigations. The book goes on to describe other calamities, like wheat's effect on the brain and addiction, skin, and the heart.

After reading this book, I decided to get off all wheat products, and I find I'm less hungry and have more energy. I encourage others to do the same!
WOW! Very informative article. Thanks for taking the time to write that, images a plus! Do you feel your opinion may change on this topic in the next coming years?
We'll see. As of right now, I don't think so, as I've felt healthier without wheat. Have you considered taking it out of your diet?

STOPWHEAT, haven't seen it in my house since 2011. But there are other belly builders that I can't get rid of.
