A small act of kindness might give great impact to those who received it

Good day to all steemians. Today I would like to share an act of kindness organized by my aunt @georgie84 with her husband, uncle @steemitcebu. It is just a simple lunch treat of rice porridge with vegetable lumpia for children and adult. Its been a while since the last charity activity we had done with our steemian family, and now it is just a wonderful feeling to be back in this job.

Before starting the preparation, I had a small play time with Eva and aunt @sweetspicy.

Later on, we started preparing the rice porridge first. I saw aunt @georgie84 do the initials with the help of my grandma. We just used a gas stove because it is cheaper than the electric stove. I have heard that rice is at 1 kilo for the porridge. Looking at my aunt, she is very patient in cooking the rice porridge, and I believe she is a bit excited for the activity.

On the other hand, me and aunt @sweetspicy wrapped the vegetable roll or the lumpia. We made 150 pieces of vegetable roll ready for frying.

Earlier than 11:00am, I started frying the vegetable roll. I use a butane gas stove because it is convenient in my part. For safety purpose, I fried the lumpia outside since butane stove is less safe and frying might be dangerous if left unattended.

Before 12:00 noon or lunch time, my aunt called the attention of the children for the feeding. As you can see my grandma in the photo, she also helped in packing the lumpia while uncle @steemitcebu distributed the feeding pack to the children. Since we had extras, we also called the attention of the adults passing by so they can also eat our feeding food.

At the end of the activity, the family gathered together and eat together. We just talked about our insights to our activity. We enjoyed it especially when our team are all cooperative.

This is all for our feeding activity. I don't know when will this happen again, but I thank the Steemit community for letting us share what we had done everyday. Until my next post.
