EXPANDING THE STEEMIT COMMUNITY IN NIGERIA THROUGH ONLINE PROMOTIONS
Introduction
I am Jeremiah Okoh, a proud ambassador of Steemit. I started my steemit campaign early this year with a target of reaching over 2million people with the good news of Steemit both offline and online. So far, I have been able to reach a total of over 39,000 people and will hopefully hit the goal before the end of the year.
Steemit means a lot to me because it helped greatly in upgrading my financial situation and I will love to help a lot of people in my country and other African countries discover this free and amazing platform that can help in transforming their lives for good.
For this particular promotion, I made use of my facebook page called "The Dream Achiever's Team Page" which I have been making use of, for the several other promotions I have done in the past.

Audience
The promotion was targeted to reach between 12,000 - 30,000 people who live in Nigeria from the age of 18 - 65 years and above.

Activity
I used an interesting titled "Financial Freedom" at the top of the post with a picture of a steemit meet-up. These drew a lot of interests from several facebook users. The post generated over 1,000 likes and the comment section wasn't left out. Few people as messaged my facebook page directly for further assistance.

Results
The promotion was able to reach 5,384 people with an engagement of 1,659. The total budget for this promotion was $10. The total amount spent was $6.21. The promotion had some impact as it was able to interest some comments on the post and directed some users to message my facebook privately for assistance.
