Today I am feeling less serious.
I am feeling fascinated by the term REBEL

A rebel always has a negative connotation when people uttered it. However, the rebel I am referring to is the one that does what it is not expected to do. In life, we are all confined by the societal norms. So in the spirit of rebelling and charting my own path, I came across some photos of trees that refused to die. This is the type of resilience that I want moving to 2018.

Life lessons

Here are a few lessons we can take away from these pictures.

You may fall down but do not stay there.

This tree fell down and decided not to stay down. After that, it grew a few more trees.

This is called the tree of life and it decided to defy gravity. It grew strong roots and anchored itself above ground. When people say it is over, it is not over. You have the power to grow new roots and cntinue living.

It is not over until you give up.

Circumstances may decide that your life is over but you stilll have alot of power left within you. This palm tree fell down but decide to rise up gain stronger.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

This is how resilient I want to be. Life knocks you down but you will emerge and multiply. This tree sprouted not one, but four new trees. And how strong and healthy do the renewed trees look?

No matter how bad your situation is, you need to look for solution.

This tree decided that the pavement does not confine it. This is the epitome of making the best out of a situation. look at how strong the roots look.

Do what you can't

I have never seen something like this. A tree growing out of a rock? How is this possible? That is what they will ask when you emerge and get your big break. You can prove t them that you can do the things they said you wouldn't do.

Count your blessings and learn to be resourcesful.

This tree was completely cut down. Instead, it had a new bud that grew to become another tree. Even though you lose your resources or wealth, there is still so much more that you have.
