The celebration was about to begin at the home of Catalina Gómez Moreno, formerly of Urrutia for two hours. The divorce decree issued by the court was held by her lawyer. The law professional called to inform him. The only thing left to do was to take it to the civil registry to have it notarized. But for Catalina it was enough. She was finally legally divorced and happy.

The friends contacted her by phone. They met quickly at the divorcée's house. They brought drinks to celebrate that their dear friend was coming out of her marital torment. They spent ten years living with Pedro David Urrutia Saldivia, regional manager of a bank. The man that Catalina admired, but his constant infidelities and betrayals disappointed her. When he got his secretary pregnant, twenty years younger than her, it was what ended up bringing the relationship down.

Music, alcohol, laughter. The group of forty-year-old women moved their bodies to the rhythm of reggaeton. Sandra Gutierrez, divorced three times, was euphoric. Welcome to the club! She repeated every few months. It was she who hired a stripper service. A muscular black man showed up dressed as a cop. Attire that he took off in a few minutes. They all went crazy touching the big muscles of the dancer. Everyone except Catalina.

The newly divorced woman asked what Pedro David was doing. Is he celebrating like me? Is he hiring women? He's probably with that little girl who gave him a tummy! They'll be laughing their heads off! That bastard! I hate him, I don't want to know anything more about that dirty man. Will the bastard be happy? The celebration ended and she kept asking herself the same questions.

A week later, it was the day to meet again with the friends. They all arrived at the restaurant Catalina had chosen. It was their first visit. While they were having their first drink, they told Catalina that some handsome former classmates had asked about her. But the divorcée was paying attention, she was staring at the other end of the place. There he is, the damn one! She said exalted. The friends were impressed when they turned around. Pedro David, Catalina's ex-husband, was on the other side of the restaurant, courting a young, blonde woman with a spectacular body.

Catalina had planned to go to the restaurant, she wanted to see for herself. Every day she would go on social networks to see what her ex-husband was posting or doing. She had him watched by instagram, it was there that she saw the restaurant's photo with a profile message called bebitasexy248, reminding her of the date for that day. What a scoundrel! We're barely a week divorced and he's with someone else! It could be his daughter! I hate him! The friends proposed to leave the place, seeing Catalina angry. No! I want to see what she does, we stay here.

It had been two months since Catalina's legal divorce. Every day one of her few friends called to speak ill of Pedro David. The man set up photos of a trip to Miami with one of her lovers. That unleashed Catalina's fury. She's having a good time! Purely enjoying the muérgano! Have you seen your girl? No respect, it's only been two months!

The happy divorcee, the least she was was happy. Ranting about the ex-husband, was the fixed task. Sometimes she called the office from a prepaid cell phone she bought for that purpose, changed her voice with the help of a handkerchief and when the secretary passed it on to Pedro David, she hung up the call. Her friends forgot about her, didn't invite her back for the weekly outings and didn't answer her calls. They knew it was to speak ill of the ex.

A year after the judge signed the divorce decree, Pedro David Urrutia was living his life to the fullest. He was happy. He was forty-five years old, but the divorce seemed to have brought him back by the time he was twenty. He had three girlfriends, a child of months with the secretary. He was out partying with his friends with no one to claim him. The divorce was a blessing for him.

Catalina was only obsessed with her ex-husband. She seemed to have grown old in that year. Bitterness was consuming her. She stopped having contact with her friends. Traitorous bitches! Ungrateful! They went to gossip to Pedro that I'm watching him. Not at all! I don't want anything to do with that bastard! I hate him! She exclaimed like a madwoman, the happy divorcee, while checking Pedro David's social networks on the computer.

Any resemblance to reality, it's pure coincidence
