Colourful Photography - Shocking Pink!

Another favourite macro shot from my industrial grunge collection is my entry into the #colourfulphotography contest this week!

This shot was taken on my little Olympus C700Zoom, which is actually a fantastic little camera for taking macro shots in good lighting conditions.

The subject of this photo was a peeling, cracked area on a funfair ride's housing - irresistible! Whilst everybody else was busy having 'fun' on the fairground rides (my idea of hell!) I was scouring them for hidden treasures such as this. Did I look like a freak? Yes! Did I care at all? NOPE! Because I derive huge amounts of pleasure from capturing unexpected beauty in amongst 'ugliness' and decay, and then sharing it with the rest of the world.
