Teens Being Exposed to the Internet
DURING my time, being able to use a PC and access internet sites like the search engine Google or social media was already a privilige that is rarely enjoyed by people at my age. We had a very limited budget that's why we would need to balance our time on the internet cafe by researching our assignments, accessing social media and playing online games within an hour or two. We don't also get to use the internet everyday before. It was only on rare occassions because it was considered a luxury before. Yeah, way different from the way kids enjoy internet nowadays.

It's pretty much more accessible these days. We can now visit our social media accounts on our smart phones. It is also easier and more conveniet to access different sites now. There are also a lot of promos wherein you can have an internet connection without really paying much. The world has evolved and the education has become somewhat dependent on the internet. I don't see anything wrong with that because maybe the education system needs to adjust to the new era by embracing modern technologies.
At an early age, teenagers and even kids can easily navigate computers and smart phones. They're already so familiar with social media and are consistently posting selfies and aesthetic photos. Sometimes adults are having a hard time to keep up with them because they seem to live on a different world when they are on social media. It's fascinating to know that they are well-informed with the modern technologies and has been adapting it. But internet can be a scary world that can bring bad influences to our kids if adults failed to guide them properly. Not everything we see on the internet is right and not all teenagers are capable enough to distinguish what's right and what's wrong.
It is important that parents or guardians are always there to discipline our kids in terms of using the internet. We don't really have to restrict them from using it. It would be unfair to deprive them of modern technologies when we are living in a modern era. All we can do is to make sure that they are using these technologies moderately. It is important to make sure that they are still focused on their studies and not on social media or online games. There should be an equal amount of being lenient and being strict at the same time.

Teenagers should know that the world doesn't revolve on the internet. There's still a lot of thing they can discover and explore without clicking and typing on their PCs. Furthermore, they have to be aware of its effects if they're overusing it and they have to be informed of its proper usage.

The internet is a scary place, my daughter had an app on her phone called musicily that she enjoyed going on and singing to songs.
The strange thing about it was while she was at her grandmothers house she got a friend request that was supposed to be from a famous singer who was once in 1d, I picked her phone up to find a naked man wanting to make music with my daughter.
I was really not happy, I uninstalled the app, talked to my daughter who didn't know about anything like that.
I was shocked that some idiot would even send photos through this app, I have sent a complaint to the app, but have had no feedback from them in the actions they would take to stop it.
Normally we play it safe and check things before our children go on anything like that.
she only had the app because all her friends have it too. Safe to say there parents deleted the app too just to be on the safe side.

I had the same, I did not have internet at home, I used to go to the Internet cafe or to my uncle, he had the internet, today we can write what Google thinks about us and google will give us the answer in a few seconds man had to search in encyclopedias or ask people if he wanted to learn something, it has its positive and negative traits, the world goes very far forward, fear to think what will happen in a few years.
