The diary game. A Day in the Orchard: Balancing Nature, Tradition, and Responsibility
Hello, dear friends! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well and enjoying your time with your loved ones, no matter where you are. Today, I want to share another day of my life with you all. I hope you find some time to read my post and that you find it enjoyable enough to upvote.
I got up very early in the morning, as I have a habit of rising early, and being an early bird, I usually get a long time to do my work, as starting my day early increases my working duration. After getting up, I performed ablution and then went to offer prayers at the nearby mosque. As such, I started my day by embracing positivity, peace, and serenity.
Later, after submitting some applications, I headed back to my place to do some gardening work. I watered the lawn and then removed any weeds that were present, which could otherwise make the lawn look untidy and affect the overall aesthetic of my place. I have planted a good number of plants in pots, and these pots need to be placed appropriately—some in shade and some in sunlight—to help them grow well.
Only after finishing the gardening work did I set off for a walk. These days, I walk towards the orchard lying on the outskirts of the village. However, it has become quite dangerous sometimes, as it exposes us to wild animals that currently inhabit the orchard and feed on various things there. We have been experiencing this for some time now, and our parents worry about our return. Fortunately, none of these wild animals have yet attacked any humans in the village. A couple of days ago, some people even witnessed a leopard near our house, and since then, the situation has changed. Now, our parents don’t allow us to stay out until late in the evening, so we have to return home early.
Today, I had taken the day off from office, as I had a number of tasks to complete at home. One of the important tasks was to review the apples growing in the orchards. We have put a lot of hard work into maintaining the quality of these apples. I aim to ensure the quality is maintained until we harvest the fruits and that no pests or other factors damage the crop. I remain quite vigilant and have taken this responsibility seriously.
Today, I visited the orchard located very close to the village to check if the fruits were ready for harvesting or if we needed to wait a few more days. I enjoyed my time there—it was quite peaceful and gave me fresh ideas about farming and how we can improve our systems and techniques to increase income from both agriculture and horticulture. Spending the whole day in the orchard was quite an experience. I checked all the apple trees and ensured that no pests had attacked the crop. I started inspecting tree by tree and checked almost every fruit.
Later in the day, I returned home, carrying a few fruits with me to enjoy on my way back. While I was walking back, I could hear the loud sounds of a wild cat living in the nearby area. Our houses are surrounded by orchards, and these leopards or wild cats find it a safe place to live without any fear of being captured or harmed by humans.
After gathering a few fruits, I returned home and straightaway had some tea. Then I freshened up and visited one of my friend’s places who had gotten married a few days ago. I had already been called by another friend who was also there. It’s a tradition here that friends usually visit each other’s homes even after the actual marriage ceremony is over, and these visits are considered quite important.
Later in the evening, around 7 PM, I returned home. I waited for dinner and, in the meantime, watched TV. After dinner, I went to my room to sleep. Before going to bed, I browsed through social media to see what was going on in the world.
Thank you for going through my post. Have a great time ahead.
