A feast for our Chinese New Year dinner

We ordered Yu Sheng for our dinner. Then we performed Lo Hei which is the Prosperity Tossing. As mentioned in my last post, this is a significant dish for us Chinese. Please see my last post for a deeper understanding of what does Lo Hei means for Chinese New Year.

Our seafood spread from the buffet we went to have our dinner. The prawns were very fresh and sweet. Went back for a couple of rounds.

Still on the cold appetizers section where there are a varieties of Shell fish. There were mussels, clams, edible shellfish and fresh Oysters. Tried a couple of each type and they are all delicious.

This is in roast area where they served roasted piglet. You will noticed that all the crispy skins are gone and left behind the meat.
There were many other roasted meat like roast duck, roast chicken, roasted pork and BBQ pork.

This is the photo of the roast meat area. I tried a little of each and found the chicken to be the best in the roast meat section.

This is the Japanese corner section even though the spread is not much.
