Wrapping Up 2017 and Moving On To 2018.

It's 28 December in the good year of our Lord 2017. Today when many of us remember the innocence of the children slain at the hand of Herod and his henchmen, I have taken a moment to think about my time here on Steemit.

A way to get out of the negativity that this date in some way represents, even though it officially as by the RC Calendar says "Celebrate the birthdays of all those children", it still makes me as a parent think about the horrors that went on in the past of human history and some of the horrors that still go on in those parts of the world where Human Rights are not respected.

Maybe this wasn't the best of intro's, but, me being me, I'm just telling it as it is, don't know how to gift wrap things!

Looking back on my just over six months here on Steemit, I have to admit that my life is on a new path. Having discovered Crypto for what it really is worth and all the potential it has to offer my family, I have bitten the bait and gone for it, there is no turning back now.
Many people here did that years ago and I am very happy to read how many people have become Crypto Millionaires, all the power to them, in fact, they are proof that all of us in this early stage of Crypto are potential millionaires. Not being the "optimist" just basing it upon experiences through my life which lead me to believe that we are at the very beginning of a new era as far as economics go.

Now you have an intro that presents where I am with my vision!

So, where would I like to be, or should I say, What would I like to see happen here on Steemit for @jackmiller?

Well, as a person who still feels like a newbie, I have to admit that one of the things I would like to see is that more Steemit Whales hit the "Follow" button for @jackmiller. I'm not overly concerned about them upvoting me, what I would like to see is that they notice that I exist and that I am trying really hard to make a real difference. To some it's all about the upvotes, to some it's all about the "importance", to me, it's all about the people factor and knowing that the people who have made themselves a very firm future here on Steemit know that I exist and may read one of my posts once in a while in their feed means a lot to me. This way they can get to know me as a person. They may see what I am doing and as such maybe even come up with better ideas and forward these on to me or do it themselves, either way Steemit gets to be more than what it is.

So there, typical number one on my "Wish List" in this ocean of fishies, fish and big mama fish!

OK, now that I have that item of my wish list, here is the next thing that I would like to see happen in 2018.

That my wife and I slowly and surely achieve a future for our children in the world of Crypto.
I know and understand that this won't happen over night, but with a lot of effort and a clear view of the vision I mentioned earlier, I am convinced that we can do it.

We've opened up our kids/family account @millers and the both of us are eagerly trying to make something of it for our kids. Even at the expense of not growing our own accounts at the maximum potential rate that is possible. We both know that savings are hard to achieve, yet here it is possible to achieve, again with all the known of rules that go with savings accounts. Can't steal from the piggy bank if you want to fill it up!

So, that is the second of the goals that both my better and prettier half @sylviamiller and I have said shall be a major priority in 2018.

So far one "Wish" and one "Goal", what next, let me flip a coin here, heads for a "Wish" tails for a "Goal"...... and it is tails.

The next thing that I see as a real goal here is to get involved with the SMT projects out there. Am already heavily involved with one that is well on its way to becoming an excellent project both here on Steemit and on the World Wide Web (www), so it really feels good to be a part of something that is going to add a lot of value in the long run to this platform and to the overall usage of Crypto out there.

Once this SMT is out and officially being circulated, I would love to partake in another such project here on Steemit. Use my new gained knowledge to once again partake in something that is going to make a real difference in the long run. Love it, makes me look at the future in a way that I used to look at it once upon a time when I was a lot younger. I can feel the adrenaline!

Next is a "Wish", I would like to see a lot more people being people and not just worrying about the money side of things. the way I see it is rather simplistic:

Just be who and what you are and the money side of things happens as it happens, you can't force it. No matter how much we try to force it, things take time and that time can be spent under a lot of unnecessary pressure and stress or it can be spent enjoying it!
I'd like to see a lot more smiles and relaxing type of approaches to everything. Not all of us are "writers" and there is no need to expect it from us, we are who and what we are. Not all of us are programmers, so bit it, but we can enjoy each others company if we just accept each other the way we truly are and not put pressure on each other to "conform" to the ways of ....."you name it"....
Life is too short to waste on negativity, lets start enjoying it more and if we make a quid or two along the way (a buck or two) then excellent, Eureka!

Well, heads and tails again, and again it's tails..... good thing i don't like gambling, would be back where I was when I did like gambling.... up you know which creek!

Goal: To set up my own voting bot, not as a service up for sale, but as a sure way of voting on the posts of people who I follow out there. This way I won't miss a post. NO, I do not want to use a ready made set up pay for service out there, I WANT TO LEARN.
This goal was supposed to happen already but as things worked out it hasn't yet, but I am sure that in January of 2018 when things are all running at a slow pace around all of us in our real life worlds that this shall happen and both my YODA and I as his future Steemit JEDI Warrior shall have many moments of "WTF, I did something wrong!!!!!!" But that I guess is the way of the future Steemit JEDI, must ensure that one learns all the inns and outs before getting out there and doing something!

Ohhh well, as far as Wishes go.... I'm gonna go chuck this damn coin into a well and make a wish for all of us here on Steemit!

Won't tell anyone what it is, but if it happens all of us will be smiling all the way to the bank!
