Ulog #117: Why Not Watch a Movie? / Done Watching Bird Box
One of the things that I miss doing is watching a movie that I want to see. I want to watch the cinema, and planned of going to see Aquaman and Bumblebee. However, economic-wise, it's not practical today. I decided not to watch because of the current poor price of cryptocurrencies, and just hodl as much as I can. When things improve, then I should be watching or maybe delay until Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame opens.
I tried to watch movies from HBO and FOX Movies but the films shown are not impressive. I mean they are playing the same things every other day. Our cable doesn't also have a community channel dedicated for movies unlike our old cable service.
I heard about Bird Box which is a Netflix original distribution. I actually postponed watching it because I have been busy these past days. Last Monday night, I decided to watch it on my phone with my earphones on. However, I don't want to sleep thinking about the movie considering its theme so I stopped on its first 30 minutes.
By Tuesday afternoon, I finally finished watching the film. I admit it is not great as I expected considering the hype towards the film. I understand the polarizing reviews, but I still enjoyed it. It scared me at some scenes, and I even got annoyed at the character of Gary. Lol! Sandra Bullock did well in the movie as well.
If you are sparing your money, and need to save it, why not watch movies at home? You can try streaming platforms like Netflix or iFlix. That way, you are at the comfort of your home. But I admit, it's a different feeling watching a movie in theaters.

@iyanpol12, Watching movies at home is more effective, but yes, Soemtimes it's good to visit theatre specially when it comes to spending time with whole family. Stay blessed. 🙂
