I don't wanna do that.
I am afraid.
I gotta wash my hands every time.
As my mind tells me so.
Gotta check the stove if it is on.
I just want to make sure if it is off.
I'll check it again.
I don't feel good if I don't check it.
Afterwards, I'll wash my hands again.
I'll check the door if it is locked.
There might be an intruder that will come in.
As I head downstairs, I have to count my steps
and avoid certain numbers.
As I got to the door, it is locked.
I found relief.
Back in my room.
Something is telling me again to check the stove again.
I just want to check if it is really off.
I count my steps again as I walk, and avoid some numbers.
That is to make sure something horrific won't happen.
When I checked the stove, it is off.
I need to wash my hands again.
Before going upstairs, I have to check the locks again.
I am back in the room.
I felt relieved.
These are just the things that are part of my life.
Obsessions.
That's because of anxiety.
It can cause obsessive compulsive disorder.
