Happy New Year!

2020 is a good number ... much better than 2019!
2019 gave me massive heartburn due to stress so I'm ready for a nice even number.

A New Year's post seems like a good time to ponder self-reflection and future goals, but I'm not going to do that.

Instead, I will tell you a pointless, random story.

Yesterday, I went to Walmart for a few items.
As I was walking down the aisle I made eye contact with some dude. Usually, I would quickly look away but his facial expression shifted in such a dramatic way that I couldn't stop looking.
He appeared to be some mix of startled, surprised, angry, and confused.
He started walking toward me and I was thinking, alright ... some shit is about to go down ... let's do this!
So, I start walking toward him as well.

He then struggles to find the words and says to me in broken English, "Are you ... pretty??"
I started laughing and said, "Ummm, no ... am I pretty?? What??"
Then he laughs and says, "Sorry.. you ARE pretty!"
He tries, unsuccessfully, to form another sentence which I assume was trying to ask me out.
I stop his painful yet determined attempt and just say, "thank you ... married!"
Then he says, "Oh! Congratulations to your Husband!"

So ... congrats Shane! lol

The funniest part of that whole thing to me was that I had just showered and washed my hair when I realized I needed some drinks and food so I ran over to Walmart before they closed with half wet/half dry hair and no makeup.
I looked like a meme for "People of Walmart"
And this is when some dude tries to ask me out lol

So, would I have gone out with this dude if I weren't married?

Hell no!

I only date people from Kmart.
