5 Minute Freewrite Prompt: Warrior
Warrior!
I looked far out and beyond. The sun was just setting and painted the sky crimson. I was tired and weary. I have been doing this for 13 years with little progress.
I wanted to be different but there was no way I could change my fate. Sadly, I will never be recognized. People like me don’t matter anymore. I had a clear goal in life, to fight! Be strong! Keep going!
I ate no breakfast or lunch. I barely had enough money for dinner. Still, I stooped down and gathered plastic from the streets. I now had 3 sacks, I will cash it in later and finally have enough to buy bread and juice. This will be my first meal for the day. It would be my last. Then I go to sleep; try and ignore the hunger pains.
I will wake up tomorrow, gather plastic and do this all over again. I will fight! I will survive! I am a street wanderer! I am a warrior!
I decided to do a 5-minute freewrite today because I had not much to do. Classes start tomorrow and I wanted to spend more time in Steemit before I start another busy semester. See you around!

Makes me think, that your prior free-write entry also was about a warrior.
What sort of fate are you trying to escape, @isganaispeaks? Because there too, the soldier ran away from home, from fate, to follow dreams.
To live? But what else?
I charge towards my fate, not run from it. :P
