its kinda warm when it must have been freezing cold in my part of the world too..... maybe global warming is a reality :s
It's been cold at my place. But no snow. We get very little of the white stuff here. But we get PLENTY of the wet variety (rain).

haha! howdy sir ironshield! what's wrong, you don't want winter to start yet? wow it started down here already with the temps but no snow, super cold North wind.
You guys should be used to it up there but who wants the winter to be longer than it has to be huh?
All of that snow melted, then today a whole bunch more fell. Glad I got the leaves raked up already!

It is not too early for snow.
The problem is, that you have been lied to.
"Global warming" has been repeated over and over and over.
However, we are at the start of an mini-
ICE AGE
In specific, we are at a grand solar minimum. (the sun has very few sunspots.) While all the big planets are on one side of the solar system making the earth's orbit a big longer. Thus we are getting the minimum heat from the sun.
While, more cosmic rays are coming around the sun. UV-c is hitting sea level at record levels. High in the Andes there are common government warnings about avoiding sun exposure.
The important thing to understand about an ice-age, is that it is not about being cold. Cold does not make lots of snow that makes moving glaciers. Antarctica is the driest place on earth. An ice-age needs a lot of heat up front. Or hotter summers and colder winters. And the UV-c evaporates more water.
So, expect winter to come earlier and last longer.
Be prepared for month long ice storms. (as opposed to week long ones before)
