I lost 60 pounds in the last year, which is a story for another time.

The first step in my weight loss was to give up high fructose corn syrup. It is in so many food products and from what I read it has very little (if any) nutritional value. I was amazed when I started looking at food labels for it. I found it in every aisle of grocery store, even in hot dogs & hot dog buns.

Today I am reading that it contains mercury, even worse that they are hiding it on food labels by calling it "Natural Sweetner".

Improve your health today by eliminating high fructose corn syrup from your diet.

You're right, its in everything, but it's not the only source of fructose, all sweet fruits have it, it also can be found in 🍯
Loosing weight is simple, consume less calories and keep in mind that sweet things are calory dense

The good news is that fruits contains natural glucose which the body uses very well. Eat lots of apples and watch the weight peel off!

i am not even joking here. i stopped drinking Mt. Dew 2 months ago and i had to take my belt in a notch last week. i have weighted 205 lbs forever and i stepped on a scale and now weight 196. i have done nothing else and i do not go to the gym. i just drink a lot of water now.

Thank you. Honey is delicious and if you buy raw honey I think it tastes like it did back when I was a child.

HFCS is disgusting. It is highly addictive too. My wife and I have never given it to our children knowingly. I have avoided it at all costs for about 15 years now. I know a while back the FDA was trying to change its name to corn sugar and there was outrage. PBS evenrana special called the blood sugar solution that called the FDA out on their bullshit and stopped them form changing the name. But you're right about them hiding it and calling it other things. Keep up the good work here!

Thank you for the information. Would love to find out which products contain that.We all should be paying more attention to the labels since they give good information for us.There are many products which contain stuff that we shouldn't take in high amounts but we still do because of the fact that we have no idea what that certain thing is. Only people with good nutritional and overall health knowledge know and it's always good reading their secrets and ways.

The list of products would be exhaustive, HFCS is in so many things. The first thing that comes to mind is soda. Then juices, you might think juice is healthy, but please check the ingredient list to ensure it really is healthy. Syrups, jams, jellies and condiments. But really, it is in a huge percentage of item in your grocery store. Please check the ingredient list.
