Crypto Market Suffers A Drop Of $6 Billion Following A Decline Of Over Five Percent In Bitcoin's Price Over The Last 24 Hours
The market valuation of cryptocurrencies lost $6 billion as the price of Bitcoin- the veritable barometer for crypto prices- dropped sharply by more than five percent in the last 24 hours, from $3, 550 to $3, 357, CCN reported.
According to CCN, some analysts predict that the price of Bitcoin will hit a fresh 12-month low in the wake of this sudden short-term decline.
Josh Rager, a crypto trader, opined:
"If Bitcoin breaks and closes sub $3,445 area it will retest the 2018 lows."
