What is One of the Best Things About Owning a Large Commercial Property?

I bought a 68,000 square foot building earlier this year with a partner. Along with buying the building I also started my own real estate brokerage and used some of the vacant space for my office. I pay rent and my partner is super happy about the arrangement. We have been making a boatload of money on the building.

We have another vacant space that we have been trying to rent without much luck. There is about 4,600 square feet, but the space is not set up well. We used the space temporarily for my new office while we were remodeling our permanent space.

I am also an avid golfer and play at least once a week with my buddies. We have been lucky in Colorado the last few years and have golfed basically every month of the year. However, there have been some winters in the past when we could not golf for three months due to the snow on the course. I hope that does not happen this year, but just in case we are working on putting in a golf simulator.

I bought the ball monitor, and the projector. Now we just need a net, a screen, and to set everything up. The cool thing is I was planning to pay for everything, but my partner said he would be happy to pay for half of it! The total cost is not too bad at about $3,000 for everything.

Not only will we be able to play in the winter, but maybe I can improve a little bit with the launch monitor info.

The funny thing is Nikki, my project manager text me the other day and said there was an agent who just looked at the vacant space. I was disappointed because I don't want to lose the room for the golf simulator!
