This puppy I did when one of my students, asked me to help with a birthday card, and my ideas came to me this adorable hybrid of fruit and canine, I liked the idea so much that I decided to digitize it, until I deduced that it would be very quick to do the cartoon style that applies to him, and you have to see that I do not learn what it is to reduce the time to make a drawing, I always end up arranging them to complicate something relatively simple to do, the something complex and tedious, since adding up the time it took me to do it in pencil and to vectorize its shape and the characteristic stripes of a watermelon, it took me a total of 3 hours, as I saw it was easy to draw it I said: "I think it would look better if I add texture to a watermelon" and as it does not apply textures in illustrator, I decided to do it by hand with the ellipse tool, and finish doing mini ellipses for more than 7 hours, + an hour inventing the ground background I made with a tool that I did not even know existed in this program. (I have to review all the tools that illustrator brings, he is capable of even having a cure for cancer, and I did not even know)
